What does the software do ?

The software is divided into 2 sections and is an extension to Tool-Wall that is free of charge for you to use. The hardware you need consists of  a Tool-Presetter and a Touch-Screen-Computer. The first section of our free software records and stores tool length and diameter (radius) from the Tool-Presetter and calculates Tool-Offsets using the machine origin values. Preferred feeds and speeds for the tools can be stored and retrieved effortlessly. Consumable (Carbide) use and inventory can be tracked and reorder list generated automatically by part number and vendor. Tools can be transferred to up to 8 machines with offset uploading.

The “Job Management” section is the 2nd part of the software, that we call “S.A.M.”. We made this division because you have to have the tool data in place before you activate and use S.A.M.
